ORECORP NYANZAGA GOLD MINING PROJECT
Located in the Sengerema District of the Mwanza region, the Nyanzaga Gold Mining Project is owned by Orecorp Ltd, an Australian company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. This venture covers an area that includes the villages of Sotta and Nyabila. The project has actively engaged with the local community and stakeholders, conducting surveys of 7,522 Project Affected Persons (PAPs) within 978 households. Approximately 2,651 PAPs from 349 households will be relocated from the Special Mining License (SML) application area. We are committed to responsible mining practices, comprehensive socio-economic surveys, and supporting the livelihoods of the relocated PAPs
TANZANIA RAILWAY CORPORATION, ELECTRIFIED STANDARD GAUGE RAILWAY LINE PHASE 2 TABORA TO KIGOMA
The aim of the SGR Project is to construct a modern standard gauge railway line along the Tabora-Kigoma route, improving transportation connectivity and fostering regional development. This involves the construction of new tracks, signaling systems, stations, and related facilities to meet the standards of a standard gauge railway. The objective is to enhance the efficiency, capacity, and reliability of the railway line, facilitating more effective movement of goods and passengers. The proposed SGR Lot 6 stretches between Tabora and Kigoma Regions, situated in the western part of Tanzania. The railway route originates from Tabora urban District and traverses through the following Districts: Uyui, Tabora urban, Urambo, Kaliua and Kigoma rural and ultimately concluding at Kigoma Urban. The entire route covers a distance of 411 km.
BARRICK NORTH MARA GOLD MINE PROJECT ESIA for Gena and Gokona Pits Expansion at North Mara Gold Mine
PaulSam Geo Engineering Co Ltd Consultants, we have successfully conducted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process for the proposed expansions of Gena and Gokona Pits at the North Mara Gold Mine (NMGM) in Tarime District, Mara Region. Our comprehensive approach involved site assessment, establishing environmental and socio-economic baselines, stakeholder consultations, and monitoring parameters analysis. We identified potential impacts and proposed mitigation measures, culminating in a management and monitoring plan. The ESIA report has been meticulously prepared and submitted for regulatory review. We are dedicated to responsible mining and sustainable practices for the benefit of the environment and local communities.
EACOP SOCIAL, RESETTLEMENT & GRAVE REMOVAL
Our involvement in the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project in Tanzania spanned 1,149 kilometers, covering 8 regions and 25 districts. We provided a range of essential services, including comprehensive stakeholder engagement at all levels, from national to village, conducting land delineation surveys, asset valuation, social-economic surveys, and data collection for the Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF) , and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and Grave Removal & Reallocation
Additionally, our team prepared architectural designs for replacement housing units, facilitated entitlement briefings, and supervised the signing of compensation agreements. We also played a pivotal role in the relocation of graves, ensuring cultural sensitivity and adherence to ritual/custom processes across eight regions.

SOTTA MINING CORPORATION LIMITED
This project, aimed at ensuring responsible and sustainable practices, involved extensive stakeholder engagement, social and economic surveys, as well as detailed assets and land surveys. PaulSam played a key role in developing a meticulous RAP, encompassing asset valuation and compensation schedules to address the needs of the Project Affected Persons (PAPs).
Environmental Impact Assessment for MMG Gold Mining Company's Surface Mine Extension to Underground Operations
PaulSam Geo Engineering Ltd Consultant undertook a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for MMG Gold Mining Company's ambitious project involving the extension of an existing surface mine to an underground mining operation. The proposed underground gold mine, operating within the existing Mining Licenses (MLs) 449-2011 and 450-2011, was slated to run for a three-year period. Notably, the initially approved Environmental Impact Assessment did not encompass the underground mining aspect, necessitating a dedicated assessment before the extension project's development.
